The
German EUCC - Die Küsten Union Deutschland e.V. was established
as an association (NGO) in 2002. The main objective is to strengthen
German activities within the field of Coastal and Marine Management
by bridging the gap between coastal science and practice. EUCC-Germany
provides relevant information through data bases, a national newsletter
and print media, consults and educates coastal practitioners and
the general public through an online education platform, hosts
workshops and conferences and runs demonstration projects. EUCC-Germany
is the coordinator of the national Dolphin Fund campaign in Germany.
