Instead of organizing boat trips for visitors, this organisation invites people to participate as an ecovolunteer in a research project on beluga whales. You should spend at least two weeks at the station. The observation is done from land.

Whales are sometimes approached too close and in the wrong way. Sometimes the time spent with the animals exceed 15 min. A naturalist is occasionally not on the boat.
Opportunities for land-based whale watching in the area are many, plans have been developed but financing is a problem.
It has been reported that every year the operator visits a reproductive gathering of Belugas, although boat-based whale watching should not at all occur at this time.
