The dolphin watching community of Log Gigantes is committed to the idea that ordinary individuals should be able to see nature at its very best and that through such visits people will learn to both value and appreciate the environment. But it must be done with absolute respect.

La Gomera

www.oceano-gomera.com

Stands for respectful whale watching adhering strictly to the whale watching regulations set by the Canary Island authorities and therefore we ensure that the cetaceans receive the respect they deserve in their natural habitat. We sail on a small former fishing boat which has become a licensed Whale Watching boat and can only carry 12 people (incl. captain and one Oceano member). Oceano works hand in hand with research programmes (M.E.E.R. e.V.) to establish an ocean reserve off La Gomera for the protection of the cetaceans. Our expert team onboard (on EVERY tour) will constantly share their knowledge and experience with our guests!! Furthermore we offer weekly lectures and a permanent exhibition on whales and dolphins in our Oceano office on La Gomera.
